The human is full of opinions, but the horse is the truth.

— Ray Hunt

Genae's enthusiasm about her own continuing education through clinics, videos and reading inspires me to do the same as I continue on my journey through life with horses.

Genae is a lifelong horsewoman, whose family has been training, riding and showing horses in Northern California for generations. According to her mother Gina, who manages Morning Sun Ranch, the Kindscher family's equine boarding and training facility, Genae has been riding since before she was born!  She started showing at a very young age, mostly Hunters, Western Pleasure and Trail. No matter what the discipline, she was always in the ribbons.

Genae grew up on horseback, living and working on the ranch, and her passion for horses has always been her life focus. She has successfully restarted many troubled horses and sent them on to new loving homes and has kept a few of them for herself.

Genae is an experienced trainer and coach of both Western and English riding disciplines. Whether your horse is troubled or just needs a refresher course on manners, Genae can help you develop a relationship based on respect and compassion. If you have confidence issues with your horse, Genae will work patiently with both of you to help build the trust you need to succeed.

Genae follows the Horsemanship tradition of Tom Dorrance and Ray Hunt. Since 2009, her long-time mentors, Caroline Hardman, Trina Campbell and the late Peter Campbell, who were direct students of Tom and Ray, have helped Genae on her journey to develop her Horsemanship skills. Genae is a certified Equine CranioSacral Therapist and is also certified in Lameness Assessment.
